Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? -Matthew 6:26

As we walk through this adventure called life, we remind ourselves that we are all precious children of our Father-- those of us who have walked a little further down the road striving to guide those who have been entrusted to our care for a time. Here is our journey down this path.

Cynthia and I were looking at some pictures of the time leading up to our trip to China...printed from our blog. The last one was a picture of the 3 kids on the plane headed to China. She seems to understand that she was in China and not here and will comment on that.
"You come to get me?"
"Where Cynthia? China?"
We were talking about it and I asked, "Did you live in China?" "Yes."
"Who fed you?" "I don't know."
"Who put you to bed?" "I don't know."
Then, she volunteered "No bathroom in China." Me, surprised for sure: "Where did you go potty?" "In the grass." Hmmm...no idea if that is true, but....then
"Who took care of you in China?"
Be still my heart.

Ever wondered??

Molly: What happens when the tooth fairy loses a tooth?

While riding in the car, Cynthia asked, "Mama, where is Jesus?"
Me: "In heaven with God."
C: "Where is heaven?"
Me: "Up in the sky." (??)
C: "Can I go to heaven?"
Me: "Not right now, but someday Jesus will come back."
C: "Into our car?!?!?"

Molly has her first game under her belt!! (And, yes, that really is their name, and, yes, they picked it themselves!!) She had a great time and her team played well together.

Win that ball!

And, although, this was not one for the "W" column....

No one seemed to mind too much!

Good game, good game, good game......

Sweet friends!!!

I proud of my girl!!!!!

Princess/Ballerina/ ?Soccer player?

So far, Molly has been all girl--pink, princess, ballet, tea parties. But recently she started asking if she could play soccer. So, tonight was her first practice and I must admit, I was surprised at her! She went after that ball! First game coming soon. And, just a cute pic of some pony-tails that barely made it....

wow! It has been a long time, but we are back....we have had a fun, busy end to the summer and are now
BACK .... to school! The kids have had a great first few days, all so excited about their teachers. We love our school! BACK ... to ?adoption?....well, of the 4 legged kind... here is our newest addition. An offspring of some sweet friends of ours cat. We were told it was a boy, but Molly has decided she is going to 'pretend' it is a girl anyway. We are all already saying 'she'. Hope he doesn't mind too much! Name? TBA--we have had about 20 already, not quite settled on one, yet. And, in case you are wondering, (s)he and Abby seem to be getting along pretty well.

And for some fun pics for our 'blog scrapbook'....BACK.....from vacation. We spent a week at the beautiful Windy Gap in NC. Had a great time.

Can you see his blood pressure dropping in this picture? He definitely needed a break!

There ar LOTS of fun activities at this camp....rockclimbing:

Generally being cute....

The swing was a big hit this year with Molly. Here is her first go at it. I love the expression on her face. Despite that, she returned again and again!

More being cute! Love this outfit??? Headed to the pool....0% chance of rain. :)

ZIP LINE!!!!!! The boys met the goal of over 10 zips this week!

Ropes course--for those of us over 5' tall...

Watching the ropes course....for those under 5'. Not even sure who took this picture, but gotta love it!

Tableau........this is pretty interesting. They set up a scene in still life, the campers come out to look and then BANG...a gun goes off and the scene comes to life. Pretty fun. Our kids joined the schoolhouse.

A little family photo-op.

Hoe down night.....daddy dancing with his partner.

And partner #2!

This year, we participated in a new event for us....a 5 mile hike up/down the mountain. It was a tough hike, but well worth it for the experience and the view from the top! 3 of the kids hiked the whole way! (Ignore the sweat!)

The reward!

Hiking down....glad I snapped this picture, because little miss wasn't walking for long!

This was her position for a large part of the hike...notice she still has her walking stick!

And...a first for Cynthia! Checking out the horses.

Not real sure about the riding....

Here is the expert, who asked for her horse by name! Gracie!

There we go---this is fun!!!

And.....one last one....Molly lost her first tooth while we were there!!!

A fun week for all! Now maybe I can get

BACK .... to blogging! :)
