Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? -Matthew 6:26

As we walk through this adventure called life, we remind ourselves that we are all precious children of our Father-- those of us who have walked a little further down the road striving to guide those who have been entrusted to our care for a time. Here is our journey down this path.

Do Ladybugs make any type of noise?

How I love this girl! This was the question she asked before bed tonight....with her sweet small voice and her cute grin. This child of my heart turned 6 today. How I have loved every moment of those 6 years. She is such a joy, lights up a room and brings a smile to my face every day with her girliness.I'm not sure how it has already been 6 years. 6 years ago right now, I was holding her little newborn self in a hospital room and now I am looking at the young girl she has grown to be.She is (too!) quickly growing into a thoughtful, conscientious person in which I can see the fruit of the Spirit working. She is growing into an amazing person. She is growing into the role of one of my best friends. Happy Birthday sweet girl!

We have so much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving day!! For the last several years, we have been using the great tradition of a Thankful Tree to remind ourselves how blessed we are. (Thanks, Tara for our first one!!) We now have one we can reuse each year.It didn't take us long to fill it up! Look how much we have to thank God for! It is a great visual reminder every time I walk by it how blessed we are. Here are a few samples of our leaves....that one says 'Molly'-Cynthia wrote that almost every day! and 'pizza' :)Today, I am thaking God for my marriage....

And these precious blessings.....

and my place as a daughter of The King!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!

October WrapUp

Have to document our fun Halloween. Costumes this year were pulled out of the costume basket or made up....actually I think it is more fun that way, anyway!!
Our cute cl0wn.

And a beautiful princess Snow White. (a Christmas gift from brother last year.)

And his victim! :)

AND...SUCCESS!!!! Cynthia is loving school, but after a few weeks, I got an email from the teacher apologizing for the lack of art projects she was sending home. Apparently, most of their art involved hand prints--painted hands pressed onto paper. Well, Cynthia was NOT excited about that at all, so was politely, but firmly, saying "I don't want to paint my hand." When I heard about it, we did a little homework of making some hand prints, which she reluctantly allowed me to do. (and immediately washed her hands.) Then, last week, she brought this home!!! Phobia no more!
